God's Endurance

God is longsuffering and true. I am sure everyone can identify when I say that He looks out for His people even when we do not deserve it. Personally, throughout this semester at NCU, I have been procrastinating a lot and God has not allowed me to meet the full brunt of my rash decisions. Isn't that amazing? God has promised to help us live out to our full potentials, we may slip up every now and then but He m,manages to work out all things to the glory and honour of His name. That, to me is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Living a Life for Christ!!!

Just the other day I had a life changing experience. You see, I do not always live a life that reflects Christ which is rather unfortunate because God is so good to me. I was beating myself over this and the morning before I left out, I asked God to be with me; a simple prayer. While walking to class, a teacher commented on my dress, asked if I were a christian and said that I had made a positive impact on his life. He also said that when people looked on me they could see Jesus in me and said that my parents should be proud of me. I had never felt so bad in my life and yet at the same time I felt good. You see, I took this to be God's way of telling me that He is not through with me yet. He is telling me that He has the awesome ability to take my enfeebled mind and body and use it to minister. He is still the God who is able to make something out of nothing. In the same manner, if you are going through similar situations, cling to God, know that He is not done with you yet. Cry out to Him because He still hears the sinner's pleas. I am glad that God is not like man. My prayer is that I will be a vessel or medium through which God will draw people closer to Himself. What is your prayer today?

Birthdays

Today is my brothers birthday, Alexander Lowe. It has been seven years on God's earth. Life's journey is still ahead of you and I know that the Lord will continue to guide you. Everyone must take time to appreciate those around them. Take time to tell them that you love them. In just the same way that the Lord expresses his favor toward us, we need to show our loved ones how much we care.

Resolve In your Hearts

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank...(Dan 1:8)

As christians we must purpose in our hearts to stand up for Christ. Mark you, it is not easy and God in His words even told us that trials would come our way. God promised us , however, that he would come through for us and He would provide a way for us to stand up against the wear and tear of life and the obstacles that threaten to overcome us.

The Lord greatly wants to help us bear our burdens but how easy it is to give in to earthly passions. We must be resolute, we must decide even before we are faced with tests to stand up for God no matter what may.

A Relationship With God

2Co 12:9 And he said unto me ,My grace is sufficient for thee : for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities , that the power of Christ may rest upon me .

This is serious. I get tongue struck sometimes, you know speechless..... Have you ever tried to tell people about your relationship with God and you end up not knowing what to say? You know I have found that having a relationship with God is not easy, it takes more will power than I can muster at times. God has promised in His words that, "not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit" That means that when we are weak, He gives us the strength to hold on. Why is it that when we are in our lowest state, when we have wondered so far from, He seeks to lift us up? I have realized that in my finite mind, I will never understand. I pray that He helps me to understand and I am confident that He will.

God's Workmanship

Eph. 2:10 says,"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them .
What exactly does that mean? It means that as children of God, as a creation and workmanship of the Heavenly Father, we should walk with with our heads held high. We should walk with a sense of purpose. You see the scripture clearly states that before we were even born, God had ordained big things for our lives.One bible commentary puts it this way: "God marks out for each in His purposes beforehand, the particular good works, and the time and way which tie sees best. God both makes ready by His providence the opportunities for the works, and makes us ready for their performance." So you see when circumstances give you a hard time and even your family fail to realize your God given potential, take hope. Reach out and claim the words and promises of God.

People are always going to give you a hard time, they will always have negative things to say, but in all things you are conquerors through Jesus Christ.

The Book of My Life!!

If I were to sum up my life in a book, I would call it...............
I guess you can all identify with me, we go through many phases that if we were to write a book about our lives and the experiences we've gone through, we wouldn't do it justice. Tell you the truth, people always talk about knowing oneself, but what they don't tell you is that this can never be accomplished without God's help. You can only truly know yourself when you see yourself through God's eyes.

Have You Ever...

Have you ever wondered what life would be like without a Saviour?
With all the terrible things happening around us, the crime, violence and abuse, where would we be if we had no one to run to. It truly is a blessing to know that when all else seems to fail us, we have a Heavenly Father whom we can run to, who understands our every needs and desires.
