Questions: Where lies the answer?

After one has strayed so far from God's love; after they have hurt their loved ones dearly, how do they go back to God. How do they muster up the courage? How do they rekindle that flame? How do they embark on a new journey that will catapult them in the direction that God so desperately wants to put us? How does one release the fears and doubts that are holding them back from acheiving or reaching their highest potential? How does one accept God's forgiveness and become a new creature? How does that person tap into the inner resources that God gave to them ?
How does one overcome temptations and habits that they have personally allowed to develop? How does one mend years of unreliance on God and dependence on their own self. Does anyone understand what I am going through? You can leave a comment if you'd like. Please pray for me as I go through this seemingly endless absymal period. THANK YOU!!!!!

Do I Have What it Takes?

Yo.... This question is as deep as it gets... Do I have what it takes to stand up for God amongst my peers? Do I have what it takes to drop all the habits that hinder me from progressing in my relationship with God? Do I have what it takes to be patient even when my friends annoy the "heck outa me"? These are serious questions that I think we ought to ask ourselves. God has siad in his words that if we do not stand up for Him here on earth, He will nto stand up for us before His father.
Are we as creations of God, as His sons and daughters, are we living up to the standards that He has given to us? It is my prayer and hope that I make it into heaven and this scare me sometimes because if God were to come right now, I would be utterly lost. How many of us are ready, can we truly say that we are ready to give up all the pleasures, life has to offer? Think on these things....
